NIST SP 800-88 Data Sanitization Training

As part of Andean's R2v3 program rollout, personnel who sanitize customer data-bearing devices must complete NIST SP 800-88 training before performing sanitization under the program. This module points you at the external course, walks you through the four steps, and lets you upload your certificate to complete your training record.

Why this training is required

R2v3 · Andean §11.5

R2v3 §5.4 requires trained and tested operators before any customer data-bearing device is sanitized under the program.

This training is one of the last open items on our §11.5 Data Sanitization Program — document reference AS-IMS-§11.5-001.

Completion is required for anyone who will perform data sanitization on a customer device — clear, purge, or destroy.

What you need to do

Four steps
  1. Watch the video. Work through the full course video on Paradygm — paradygm.co/nist-80088-training.
  2. Pass the exam. Complete the reading and knowledge check at the end of the course. A passing score is required for the certificate to issue.
  3. Download your completion certificate. Save the PDF certificate that Paradygm generates once you pass. Save it with your name in the filename (e.g. Last-First_NIST-800-88_Certificate.pdf).
  4. Upload your certificate below. The system files your certificate in Andean's Training Records folder and logs the completion in your Training Matrix automatically. You will receive a confirmation email once it is processed.

Fill in your details and attach the PDF certificate from Paradygm. Andean EHS will file it and log the completion — you do not need to do anything else.
